As the BDR Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Business Development Representatives
Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth by leading your team in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads through targeted outreach strategies
Manage and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets
Develop and implement outreach strategies to identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, email, social media, and other channels
Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, and provide ongoing feedback to drive continuous improvement and success
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted messaging and campaigns for lead generation and nurturing
Ensure the consistent use of CRM systems and other sales tools to track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities
Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to review progress, discuss challenges, and share best practices
Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new BDRs as needed to expand the team
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to adapt outreach strategies and optimize results
Identify relevant contacts in target accounts and use ABM strategies to prospect and identify new contacts
Requirements:
This role requires a passionate, results-driven individual who can inspire and motivate a team of high-performing BDRs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
3-5 years experience as manager/coach/mentor and know how to help people progress
Sales/Business development experience in a similar role or matching experience transferable to this position
Passion for building prospecting and pipeline building
Committed to team operational excellence and achievement of monthly performance metrics
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills as well as strong organizational and analytical skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated to succeed both individually and with a young and fast-growing company
Willing to do some travel
Very strong work ethic with confidence to work autonomously
Experience, knowledge or an interest working in a B2B and/or SaaS environment
A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to consistently develop and deliver on agile goals and targets
Prior Start-up sales experience a huge plus
