Lead Gen & BD Manager

Overview

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads for sales via inbound as well as outbound activities
  • Enrich Sourcerie’s prospect list and continue list building research, creating a repeatable process
  • Improve the setup of current CRM (Attio) and / or migrate to Hubspot
  • Refine sales and marketing messaging: work with Customer Success to turn existing customer use cases into commercial case studies and refine proposition for our ICP
  • Create and program lead magnet content (starting with organic & owned content eg improved website, Linkedin content) before setting up paid. Set up an email newsletter to nurture existing warm prospects which have not yet converted
  • Set up Sourcerie’s first paid marketing tests and campaigns to highly targeted ICPs
  • Manage pay-per-lead relationships with specific vertical experts across the US & UK with expertise in beauty, apparel, personal care, and FMCG, as well as referral partnerships with aligned agencies, consultants, and adjacent SaaS businesses
  • Manage monthly intimate prospect events in the UK for which Sourcerie already has a template and consistent venue for (create invite lists, manage invites, and work with CEO on speakers)
  • Set up Sourcerie’s first prospect event in NYC in Q4
  • Identify and book in relevant prospect events that Sourcerie should sponsor, attend, and /or get speaker slots at

Requirements:

  • You know B2B sales and marketing CRMs (Hubspot, Salesforce) inside and out.
  • You know how to set up and manage BD relationships with aligned parties that will deliver on qualified prospect introductions (referral agreements, pay-per-lead agreements, partnerships, etc)
  • You have worked in similar B2B SaaS businesses (anything serving modern commerce businesses such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Yotpo, Gorgias, Okendo, analytics businesses etc). You have also worked within the consumer businesses that we serve, which gives you a natural understanding of our ICP.
  • You deeply understand how to set up and optimise the rest of the lead gen stack and various tools within it (such as list building and prospect enrichment tools).
  • You have a demonstrated ability to deliver qualified leads to sales for a first demo meeting, and have delivered lead to sale conversion rates over 15%, through various strategies.
  • You know how to track and optimise newsletters and outreach campaigns for open rates, click through rates, and meetings booked.
  • You know how to create lead magnet content and FOMO-inducing prospect events that will result in form fill, emails captured, and meetings booked.
  • You are excited about working with a pre-seed company, first setting up new processes and generating results with little budget, and then growing paid marketing in line with results.
  • You are an excellent copywriter and communicator, able to nail sales messaging with the right tone of voice for our ICP.
  • You are aggressive, analytical, data literate, and can quickly run experiments to measure and understand what is and is not working.
  • You are equally comfortable digging into analytics as you are hustling connections for meetings or doing cold outreach to book speakers for an event.
