Senior Product Manager

Overview

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Core Services platform to enable our teams to deliver an ever expanding portfolio of credit products to our customers through an exceptional experience for both borrowers and the internal teams that support them
  • Drive an empowered product & engineering team that helps deliver our strategy, product vision, OKRs and roadmap for Core Services - collaborating with business & technology teams to identify, prioritise & deliver opportunities for growth, customer experience improvement & efficiency
  • Make decisions on scope to deliver value in increments as quickly as possible, managing trade-offs (both business and technical) to get things done
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, be the go-to person in your domain and enable fast decision-making
  • Support the growth & development of the culture within the wider Product team
  • Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day

Requirements:

  • Relevant commercial experience in product management including:
  • Building an understanding of customers through quantitative & qualitative methods and using it to develop customer centric products
  • Driving an empowered product & engineering team to support delivery of the strategy, product vision, OKRs and roadmaps to drive business performance, owning product development & delivery through its lifecycle
  • Working collaboratively with business and engineering stakeholders to maximise the value of your work, make tough trade off decisions and get things done
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to draw strategic insights from analysis and a clear focus on customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with individuals from different parts and levels of the organisation with different backgrounds and perspectives
  • Passionate about Funding Circle’s mission and values
  • Fintech / Small business lending experience
  • Experience using Tableau, SQL or customer insight tools to understand the customer
  • Collaborated with marketing teams on the awareness/acquisition stage of the customer journey
