Responsibilities

  • As a Paid Search Performance Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving growth through impactful paid search and performance-focused advertising campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences across Cazoo and MOTORS
  • Collaborating closely with the Senior Digital Growth Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of our paid search strategies across platforms including Google Search, Microsoft Advertising, Performance Max, and Google Vehicle Ads
  • Your key responsibilities will involve strategic planning, leveraging data to inform decisions, and proactively identifying opportunities to stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the continued success of our campaigns
  • Reports To: Digital Marketing Manager
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Campaign Management and Optimisation: Plan, execute, and optimise paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and other platforms to achieve performance objectives
  • Budget Management: Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, identifying opportunities for growth and optimising ROI
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyse performance metrics (e.g. CPM, CTR, CPA, ROAS) to provide actionable insights and refine campaign strategies
  • Strategic Contribution: Support the development and execution of the overarching growth strategy, including annual and quarterly planning cycles
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and analytics teams to align campaigns with broader objectives and drive maximum impact
  • Innovation and Testing: Explore new technologies, tools, and strategies, including Performance Max and Vehicle Ads, to maintain a competitive edge
  • Reporting and Insights: Deliver regular performance updates, detailed insights, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and leadership, ensuring effective communication of strategies and results

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end paid search campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Performance Max, with a proven ability to drive and optimise performance
  • Working knowledge of DV360 (Display & Video 360) and its core features is beneficial
  • Experience managing YouTube campaigns, including strategy and execution, is advantageous
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, and SQL to support data-driven decision-making
  • A good understanding of SEO principles and their relationship with PPC strategies
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively and identify opportunities for growth
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple projects
  • At least 3 years of experience managing paid search campaigns, ideally in a digital marketing agency or a tech-driven environment
  • Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable
  • Experience with bid management tools and advanced PPC platforms
