As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a talented and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team and drive new business growth through strategic sales initiatives
This is a role that is remote from the office but will require travel to client sites across the North West of England
Reports To: Head of Key Accounts
Contract Type: Permanent
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share within a designated territory
Identify and prioritise prospective clients through market research, networking, and cold calling
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target dealerships
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition and benefits of our products/services
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to tailor solutions that meet client needs requirements
Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with prospective clients to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
Track and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to capitalise on emerging opportunities
This role requires travel to client sites across the North-West
Requirements:
Proven track record of success in field sales and business development, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role
Whilst motor industry experience; specifically, knowledge of manufacturers and the used car market would be desirable, high awareness of excellent customer service and a sincere desire to exceed is essential
Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and business development principles
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in CRM software
Valid drivers’ licence and willingness to travel within assigned territory
