We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive our growth in the US market. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both proactively generating new business and nurturing inbound leads from our website, events, and database
Working closely with our US sales team, you’ll identify and qualify potential clients, ensuring they are a strong fit for ABACUS, the enterprise architecture software we develop and sell
Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities through research, outbound outreach (cold calling, email, LinkedIn), and networking
Manage and prioritize leads from both inbound and outbound sources, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality prospects
Work closely with Sales Consultants to understand client needs and effectively communicate the value of our solutions
Develop targeted outreach strategies to expand our market reach and penetrate new accounts
Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts, client interactions, and sales activities in the CRM
Continuously refine lead generation and prospecting strategies based on market trends and feedback
Requirements:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or telemarketing, ideally in the SaaS industry
Proven ability to initiate and build relationships with potential clients from scratch
Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a results-driven mindset
Great organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet targets
Experience with outbound prospecting techniques, including cold calling and email outreach
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales processes
Experience with a Sales Execution Platform such as Outreach or Salesloft
Experience with Zoominfo would be a bonus
Comfortable working in a fully remote setting
Multilingual abilities are a plus but not required
You may have experience in the following roles: Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), Inside Sales Representative, Telemarketing Executive, Account Executive (AE)
