As an Outbound BDR, you will be responsible for creating qualified opportunities by initiating contact with logistics and freight brokerage companies through cold outreach
You will work closely with sales and marketing to identify targets, refine messaging, and book discovery calls that turn into pipeline
Research and identify qualified prospects aligned with our ideal customer profile (ICP) within the freight brokerage and 3PL space
Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
Develop tailored messaging and sequences that generate interest and response
Qualify inbound and outbound leads, and schedule discovery calls for Account Executives
Collaborate with marketing to improve lead conversion and feedback loops
Use CRM and sales engagement tools to track activity, pipeline, and performance
Stay up to date on transportation industry trends, competitor offerings, and value-based selling strategies
Requirements:
If you're passionate about SaaS, logistics tech, and love driving conversations that create opportunities—we want to talk to you
1–3 years of BDR/SDR experience (SaaS or logistics/transportation industry preferred)
Proven success with outbound sales and appointment setting
Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and sales engagement tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A curious, coachable, and goal-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-growing startup environment
Experience selling to freight brokers, 3PLs, or supply chain professionals
Exposure to TMS platforms or logistics technology
Startup or early-stage company experience
